GUI National Academy
The Carton House estate is home to the headquarters of The Golfing Union of Ireland, the oldest Golfing Union in the world.
Opened in April 2006, the GUI National Academy at Carton House is the premiere teaching facility in the country. Set in 22 acres, the Academy features unique practice facilities and opportunities, including:
- Floodlit Driving Range
- Can Accommodate 30 golfers
- Two Swing Analysis Suites
- Science and Motion (SAM) Putting Analysis Equipment
- Three Large USGA Specification Greens, hand cut daily and maintained to World Class Standards
